American Standard Gate Valve

American standard gate valve is a cut-off valve that complies with American standards (such as API 600/602). Its opening and closing component is a vertically moving gate plate, which controls the medium flow through the sealing surface between the gate plate and the valve seat. It only supports fully open or fully closed states and cannot be used for flow regulation. These types of valves have the characteristics of large flow area and low fluid resistance. They use elastic gate plates or hard alloy sealing surfaces to enhance wear resistance, and are suitable for pipeline systems in the fields of petroleum, chemical, and power. They can handle water, steam, and corrosive media, with pressure ratings ranging from Class 150 to 2500.
