Definition: A gate valve specifically designed for low-temperature media (usually -40 ° C to -196 ° C), with a gate valve as its opening and closing member, moving perpendicular to the fluid direction, only supporting fully open or fully closed operations, and cannot be used for flow regulation.
Core features:
Low temperature adaptability: The valve body is made of stainless steel or LCB, LC3 and other low-temperature materials, and undergoes low-temperature impact testing to avoid brittle fracture;
Long neck valve cover design: Extend the neck of the valve cover to ensure that the temperature of the packing box is above 0 ℃, preventing freezing and sealing failure;
Anti abnormal pressure rise structure: A pressure relief hole is installed on the inlet side of the gate to prevent abnormal pressure rise in the valve chamber due to medium vaporization;
Full bore flow channel: with low fluid resistance, suitable for high-purity or easily vaporized media such as liquid nitrogen, liquid natural gas (LNG), ethylene, etc.
Typical applications: Ultra low temperature industrial pipeline systems such as liquefied natural gas storage and transportation, air separation equipment, and liquid oxygen/liquid nitrogen transportation.
