Definition: A gate valve that is lined with fluoroplastics (such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), FEP, etc.) on the inner wall of a metal valve body or on the surface of key components. The lining process enhances corrosion resistance and is specifically designed for controlling corrosive media such as strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents.
Core features:
Corrosion resistance: Fluoroplastic lining can resist strong corrosive media such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, etc., extending the service life of valves;
Structural design: Retain the full bore flow channel of traditional gate valves, with vertically moving gate valves as the opening and closing components, only supporting fully open or fully closed operations to avoid throttling adjustments;
Applicable scenarios: Pipeline systems in chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum and other industries that require the treatment of corrosive fluids, with a temperature range generally ranging from -50 ℃ to 150 ℃.
Limitations: Due to the temperature resistance limitations of fluoroplastics, they are not suitable for extreme high or low temperature conditions.
